The Tragic Accident Involving Highlife Artists KK Fosu and Bless Leaves One Dead
On Saturday, May 25, 2024, Highlife artists KK Fosu and Bless were involved in a tragic accident on the Accra-Apam highway, resulting in one fatality.
The deceased, John Claude Tamakloe, a creative writer and publicist for Bless, succumbed to his injuries and passed away later at the hospital.
Nana Obiri Yeboah, the driver, recounted the incident in an interview with UTV. According to him, they were en route to attend a wedding in the Central Region when a white Mercedes Benz C300 attempted to overtake them. This manoeuvre forced all vehicles heading towards Apam Junction to swerve onto the shoulder of the road. Unfortunately, the Mercedes crashed into their car, an event Yeboah only became aware of upon regaining consciousness.
When Yeboah came to, he learned that three passengers had already been taken to Apam Hospital. KK Fosu and Bless sustained leg injuries, while another passenger, an aide to Bless, tragically died on the spot.
