Ghanaian filmmaker Salifu Abdul Hafiz has proudly announced his role in the production of the music video for American rapper Ne-Yo's latest single, "2 Million Secrets." Hafiz, who was part of the technical team, shared his enthusiasm on social media: “My first set in the UK happens to be one for the legendary @neyo ‘2Million Secrets’ OUT NOW! Such a humbling experience. Thank you to my boss @arrangreen and the entire amazing team. Love forever inked.”
The song and its accompanying music video were released on June 14, 2024. Ne-Yo directed the video himself, with Christian Gilchrist as co-director. The video stars actress Deborah Ayorinde, and the cinematography was done by Arran Green, a British director of photography celebrated for his remarkable achievements in the film industry.
Salifu Abdul Hafiz, also known as Director Hafiz, has built an impressive career over the past decade, working with top brands, institutions, and celebrities around the world. His portfolio includes collaborations with notable figures such as Usher, Mr. Eazi, Fuse ODG, Idris Elba, Sarkodie, King Promise, and Joeboy. Additionally, he has worked with prominent organizations like USAID, UN-IFAD, BBC, the Ban Ki-Moon Centre, and Global Citizen.

In a recent interview, Hafiz hinted at more international collaborations in the future: “This is just the beginning. I'm thrilled about our upcoming projects. I see myself as an ambassador for our beloved Ghana, and my team and I are committed to raising the Ghanaian flag high,” he said.
Director Hafiz also revealed plans for his annual Fine Cinematics Workshop, aimed at educating and empowering current and future filmmakers.
