The Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory, Bennett Igweh, has mandated an investigation into the death of an unidentified individual found dressed in women’s clothing. According to a statement from command spokesperson Josephine Adeh, the police attention was drawn through a via a distress call about a deceased person discovered along the Katampe-Mabushi Expressway. Detectives were swiftly dispatched to the scene. Preliminary findings by the investigators revealed that the individual was a man in female attire and lacked any form of identification. The body was transported to Maitama District Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Adeh reported, "On 08/08/2024 at approximately 07:40 AM, the Command Control Room received a distress call about an unidentified person found lying motionless along the Katampe-Mabushi Expressway.
